In principle, the state grants legal aid to persons who do not have sufficient financial resources. However, legal aid is only granted if the case is not without prospect of success. We are happy to help and advise you when submitting your application.
The legal costs consist of court costs and party costs. The specific amount of legal costs is determined by the individual cantons and depends on the amount in dispute and the competent court. We are happy to advise you on the risk assessment and on whether legal proceedings are worthwhile in terms of costs.
In Switzerland, there is generally no obligation to be represented by a lawyer. In the case of complex issues, high amounts in dispute, if the other party has a lawyer or if a lawsuit is imminent, we recommend that you contact us and hire a lawyer.
In the event of traffic accidents, sports accidents and work accidents that result in you being unable to work, we also recommend that you consult a lawyer.
